Maundy Thursday is such an important time in the Christian calendar as this traditionally marks the evening in which Jesus had his last meal with his disciples. From this beautiful day, we have received the gift of communion, one of the most important meals that Christians take together to remember Jesus’ incredible sacrifice.
St. Oswald’s will celebrate this momentous occasion with an Agapé meal. This simply means that we will gather together, each bringing something to share (like a potluck!), and take part in some beautiful words of blessing, some music, and our meal together.
We will be meeting at the church on Thursday, 28th March at 6:30pm. Please get in touch with Rev. Joe if you would like to come along as space is limited. We look forward to seeing you there!
