Policy Statement on Safeguarding at St. Oswald’s Church in Bidston

St. Oswald’s Church in Bidston takes its duty and obligation to protect all extremely seriously.
As members of the church, we commit ourselves to the nurture, protection, and
safe-keeping of each person — especially children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
We follow both the church of England and House of Bishops robust procedures, policies, and guidance.
to enforce this, and As part of our commitment to this protection, the PCC of St. Oswald’s has
appointed Miss Bev Kearney as the designated safeguarding officer (PSO) for our church.
