Annual Parochial Church Meeting

Come join us on Sunday, 24 May, after our morning service as we wrap up the 2025 Church year with our APCM. We will be discussing this last year, saying a huge thank you to those members in our PCC who are stepping down from roles, vote on new members who will take up the flags of these roles, and welcome more people onto our PCC.

You are more than welcome to come listen, celebrate, and prepare for the new year ahead with us.

St. Oswald’s Christmas Fair

An exciting event is just around the corner to kick off this years Christmas festivities! We are going to be beginning this Christmas season with a Fair celebration at St. Oswald’s Church on Saturday, 29 November, 2024 from 11:00am-3:00pm.

There will be loads of fun for all the family: a bake stall, tombola, a brilliant raffle, goodies to purchase, light refreshments, children’s stalls, live music and plenty more! No need to book in advance — just come on out and enjoy the festivities with us. All our stalls take both cash and card so no need to check the sofa for loose change!

Looking forward to seeing you all there to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season!

All Souls Service

St. Oswald’s church will be reflecting on those we have loved and lost during the All Souls Service on Sunday, 2 November at 6pm. If you have lost a person dear to you and wish to commemorate their memory, please feel free to come and join us as we celebrate in their lives collectively through quiet reflection, song, and a contemplative reading of their names. We will have the opportunity to light a candle to remember them, and give thanks for their lives.

If you would like to add your loved one’s name to our list to be read out, please contact Rev. Smith. Alternatively, you are welcome to add the name yourself on the night of the event.
