While there has been a place of worship on our site since the 12th century, St. Oswald’s has undergone a number of changes over the years.
One major refurbishment took place in the 1980s, which made our space more multifunctional by removing pews, setting up closed function rooms upstairs, and updating our light and sound systems. We believe in continuing to make our beautiful church not only accessible for all, but also a welcome space for our community to use.
2022 and 2023 have invited a number of exciting changes such as the installation of a brand new catering kitchen, the refreshment of our crèche, and reintroduction of community groups and events.
Big conversations are taking place to continue to grow and have our beautiful church become a central hub for our community. As we progress with these changes, please keep an eye on our News page to stay updated with our progress!
If you wish to hire out any of our spaces for any group, meeting, or event, please get in touch; unfortunately, the space is not available for party hire. For any other request, however — we would love to speak with you about St. Oswald’s!
