Wednesday Lunch Club

During the winter of 2022/23, St Oswald’s Church, alongside a committed team of other local services, applied for ‘Warm Hub’ funding from Wirral Council. This was to respond to the needs of the energy crisis and offer parishioners an opportunity to switch the heating off at home and come and enjoy the church’s heating for free. Thankfully, we were successful in our application and, as such, we launched Warm Spaces which has turn into our Wednesday Lunch Club.

Quite wonderfully, our Warm Hub has now turned into our weekly Lunch Club! Open to anyone in the community, you can, for a suggested donation of £2, receive a bowl of hot soup, bread, a dessert, unlimited tea and coffee, and the opportunity to make new friends in a friendly and open space!

The church is open every Wednesday from 12-2pm for everyone to spend some time in. Come meet friends, old and new, have a hot drink, and play some games. Please do pop in at any time!
